Top Grand Slam Teacher • NEW 2013!

Will be awarded to the three best teachers across multiple styles. If you produce great students Top Grand Slam Teacher prize money rewards your expertise and your student’s placements in Multi-Dance and Scholarship events.

To qualify for a prize you need a minimum of 3 students entered in a minimum of 8 Scholarship and Multi-Dance events.

3rd $750.

Top Grand Slam Student • NEW 2013!

Will be awarded to Pro/Am students who place the best in Scholarships and Multi-Dance events.

Top Grand Slam Student awards are designed to honor you, a versatile Pro/Am dancer who excels in multiple styles.
Each student must enter a minimum of four Scholarship and/or Multi-Dance events to qualify for the award and prize money.

Teacher's Pot of Gold

Teachers, we value the contribution you bring to our competition, and we want to reward you for supporting The Snow Ball. Qualifying teachers will receive a “Pot of Gold” based on the number of paid adult Pro/Am entries danced at The Snow Ball.

Here are the teacher incentives for 2013:

50 or more adult Pro/Am entries
Earn $2.00 on each entry (50 x 2 = $100)

75 or more adult Pro/Am entries
Earn $2.50 on each entry (75 x 2.50 = $187.50)

100 or more adult Pro/Am entries
Earn $3.00 on each entry (100 x 3=$300)

150 or more adult Pro/Am entries
Earn $5.00 on each entry (150 x 5=$750)

200 or more adult Pro/Am entries
Earn $7.00 on each entry (200 x 7 = $1400)

200 or more adult Pro/Am entry BONUS • NEW 2013!
Earn a $500.00 bonus

300 or more adult Pro/Am entries • NEW 2013!
Earn $10.00 on each entry (300 x 10 = $3000)

Top Teacher

Will be determined by a combination of entries and placements as described on the DanceSport Series website.

In addition to the Teacher’s “Pot of Gold” prize money the three top teachers will receive trophies.

Top Studio

Trophies will be presented to the small Top Studio and large Top Studio based on entries.

Small studio: 1-2 teachers
Large Studio: 3 or more teachers

Top Student

Trophies will be presented to the Top Newcomer, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Open and Overall Pro/Am students based on number of entries.
A trophy will also be presented to the Top Amateur couple based on number of entries.

This event is open to all Closed Bronze and Closed Silver students. Figures may be danced from any recognized NDCA syllabus including DVIDA.
These events will be invigilated.
The events are unisex (Ladies & Gentlemen combined).
